About me

Hi! I’m Maxwell Mooney. I’m a Christian, husband, student, youth pastor, debater, and musician.

I’m married to the beautiful Julia Mooney (Spragg). We married May 15th, 2011. I am a student at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington. I’m currently majoring in Biblical Literature. I am blessed to lead a group of young believers at Everett Family Church, I am also a very active member of the debate team at NU. I play music here and there, mostly for myself but I’ll play for a church band periodically.

This blog will serve as my virtual springboard for my views on youth ministry in particular, but I may do some other things with it!

  1. Very nice blog you have here Mr. Mooney!!! I just want to tell you haw very proud I am of you and your family!! I love and miss you very much. Good luck with your youth group. I know it is what you have wanted to do for years now and I know you will be good at it and well loved by all!!

  2. I finally figured out how to do this. LOL! To my first born, my one and only son. I want you to know how very proud I am of you and the wonderful things you have accomplished in Christ. I know that there have been some rough times but I have always hoped and prayed GOD’s best for you. I see that in you GOD is answering all my prayers for you. I have always wanted you to be happy, but more so than that I have always wanted for you to be a servant of the most high GOD. I don’t mean to get all mushy but I wanted you to know how proud you’ve made me. You have chosen the greatest of all careeers and the most rewarding and rewarded. I love you son and want you to know it. If something were to happen and I were to leave this earth today I would leave knowing I gave GOD my son in return for his. HE really is the best. Keep up the good work buddy.

  3. We share the passion, we share the same ministry, and above all serve the risen God.

Thank you for a brilliant blog Max. I must tag along and follow your beautiful mind that glories God.
